The FM-A chassis (Front Midship Aero) is a front motor unit with refined aerodynamics. It is the successor to the FM and Super-FM chassis and it joins the Mini 4WD REV series. With the center of gravity closer to the front, this chassis really shines on undulating circuits. Furthermore, it features a front skid bar as a standard part, plus four rollers (rear rollers are 8mm thick for superior stability), and an easy-access motor position.

• The FM-A Chassis is molded in Metallic Gray ABS.
• A Parts are Red low-friction POM.

It is one for the racers – it features a lightweight clear polycarbonate body, and is mounted on the cutting-edge FM-A chassis, a front motor unit with refined aerodynamics and an easy-access motor position. The muscular body comes with dedicated clear stickers.
Tamiya 95589 1/32 Copper Fang Black Special (FM-A Chassis)
The chassis adopted FM-A with front motor layout incorporating aero design. Since the center of gravity is closer to the front of the car body, it is possible to run with a sense of stability even on courses with many ups and downs. The four rollers are also made of low friction resin, including a skid bar made of low friction resin at the bottom of the front as standard equipment. In particular, the rear roller is an 8mm thick type with improved stability. In addition, the motor can be easily replaced from the bottom of the chassis, and setting changes can be made quickly. Various parts can be attached to the aero side stay, which is inspired by the cross-sectional shape of the wing of an airplane. The chassis body made of polycarbonate ABS resin is black, and the A parts made of low friction resin are fluorescent green. The gear ratio is set to 4.2: 1.
