Ever since its release years ago, the Mini 4WD model kit “Hong Kong Racing Taxi” – a highly detailed model that authentically captures the look and feel of Hong Kong’s iconic red taxis – has been beloved by local and also global fans. Now, Tamiya Hong Kong proudly introduces a new addition to the lineup: the Hong Kong Racing Taxi (Green Special)!
The Green Special Version faithfully reproduces the New Territories Taxi, known locally as the “green cab,” which has served the New Territories region since 1976. As a Mini 4WD, this model stands out with its rare fluorescent yellow chassis and matching fluorescent yellow tires printed with “TAMIYA MINI 4WD” and “WAIGO HOBBY.” The A parts are molded in green to perfectly match the taxi’s signature color theme, making it a true head-turner on the racetrack!
Item 92464 1/32 Mini 4WD Hong Kong Taxi (Green Special) (FM-A Chassis) Assembly Kit Version includes a special motor, first released in Hong Kong! The included Torque-Tuned 2 motor features the Lion Rock emblem representing Hong Kong alongside the Tamiya and Waigo Hobby logos, enabling this Hong Kong taxi to race at full speed, embodying the Lion Rock spirit!

TAMIYA 18104 1/32 MINI 4WD CROSS SPEAR 02 (VZ)
This assembly kit creates a stylish Mini 4WD car known as the Cross Spear 02, a close relation to our earlier Cross Spear 01 . The one-of-a-kind compact, lightweight design with a smooth, lowdown look, its cockpit shifted forward, and side trellis sections is the brainchild of Japanese designer Takayuki Yamazaki. It is based upon the compact race-focussed VZ chassis, with red Y-spoke wheels and super hard small diameter low-profile tires that minimize bounce after jumps.
VZ Chassis
The VZ chassis is a compact and lightweight design that features reinforced designs for bumper, rear stay base and more ensuring that it has the durability and flexibility to withstand racing accidents. It is also a rather adaptable unit that lets its owner make numerous updates to the setup. Low friction 620 plastic bearings are molded in POM and maximize drive efficiency, while the chassis and A parts are molded in ABS. This chassis features a gear ratio of 3.5:1.

This is a limited-edition version of the popular racing rollers from Item 15464 to commemorate Japan Cup 2021! These lightweight yet tough rollers have built-in 520 ball bearings for smooth movement, and can be used for both front and rear roller setups. This assembly kit creates the Ray Spear, a Mini 4WD racer with body designed by Japanese "Hyper Designer" Takayuki Yamazaki. Molded in clear green plastic, the body features a thrusting design and is lightweight and compact, contributing to a low center of gravity for the car; it features a detachable canopy which reveals a jet fighter-esque cockpit interior. Like the body, the VZ chassis is a lightweight and compact design, and here it is paired with dark silver color wheels and super hard low-profile tires.

A special Copper Fang to celebrate Tamiya Korea's 30th anniversary in 2026!
To celebrate Tamiya Korea's 30th anniversary in 2026, we have prepared a special Copper Fang.
The body of the Copper Fang, which features the FM-A chassis with a front motor layout for a stable posture when jumping, is made up of a clear blue, white A-parts, and a light blue chassis. In addition, the white A-spoke wheels are paired with light blue hard-type tires that do not bounce as much when landing and have less cornering deceleration than the tires that come standard with other kits. In honor of the passion and achievements of 30 years, the sticker designed with the concept of shining wings makes the blue and white colored machine stand out even more. Also included is a Rev-Tune 2 motor with a 30th anniversary sticker attached exclusively for this kit.
