This assembly kit creates the Copperfang, a stylish Mini 4WD racer whose body won the MERIT AWARD in the 2018 Mini 4WD Design Contest held in Japan. Its memorable metallic orange color body features numerous design cues taken from the copperhead snake, and seems ready to strike with its fang-like front fenders. Stickers are included to depict details for the headlights and other body sections.
FM-A: Aerodynamic Front Motor Chassis
The FM-A chassis is a front motor unit with advanced aerodynamic themes that – thanks to its center of gravity toward the front – is at home on a whole variety of track types including those with frequent elevation changes. It comes equipped with a low-friction front skid bar, while the chassis underside allows easy access to the motor and quick setup changes. Aircraft-inspired aero side stays allow attachment of a range of Grade-Up parts. The chassis is molded in durable black ABS, with low friction A parts such as underpanel in matching black. Silver color plated A-spoke wheels are combined with super hard low-profile tires, and the model includes a motor and 3.5:1 gears.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Tamiya 95589 1/32 Copper Fang Black Special (FM-A Chassis)
The chassis adopted FM-A with front motor layout incorporating aero design. Since the center of gravity is closer to the front of the car body, it is possible to run with a sense of stability even on courses with many ups and downs. The four rollers are also made of low friction resin, including a skid bar made of low friction resin at the bottom of the front as standard equipment. In particular, the rear roller is an 8mm thick type with improved stability. In addition, the motor can be easily replaced from the bottom of the chassis, and setting changes can be made quickly. Various parts can be attached to the aero side stay, which is inspired by the cross-sectional shape of the wing of an airplane. The chassis body made of polycarbonate ABS resin is black, and the A parts made of low friction resin are fluorescent green. The gear ratio is set to 4.2: 1.
