The Astralster’s body was designed first to evoke a real car, and then adapted to Mini 4WD use. Happily, this means that it retains a road car’s appearance without straying from the low-to-the-track, powerful Mini 4WD design. In a first among Mini 4WD vehicles, it features a body with a special matte-finished surface, and also has reflective windows and lights for a high-class look that will wow the competition!
MS Chassis
The MS Chassis has its double-shaft motor and batteries mounted at the center of the chassis for optimum weight distribution and superb stability at high speeds. The nose, center, and tail units are designed for easy attachment/detachment, allowing quick setting adjustments.

This Limited-Edition Tamiya Racing Factory Racer Junior kit comes in a black special color theme. The original kit (item 18613) came in white, blue, light blue and pink color scheme. The kit features a 3-piece chassis with nose, center, and tail sections for easy assembly. Double shaft motor drives all 4 wheels and is located at the center of the chassis with 1 battery on each side, giving the chassis excellent balance. The race car body is made from lightweight polycarbonate and is styled like a car belonging to Tamiya’s world-famous TRF team.
