It is a Nomex, fire resistant proof jacket. It has a lightweight quilted lining, corduroy collar. Steel clasps close the jacket with additional VELCRO brand closures on top. It has attachments for harnesses and has a reflector. Has a gloveless glove for ease of hand movement. Some are marked with the previous owner's name. Great big cargo pockets are on the front.
