Ever since its release years ago, the Mini 4WD model kit “Hong Kong Racing Taxi” – a highly detailed model that authentically captures the look and feel of Hong Kong’s iconic red taxis – has been beloved by local and also global fans. Now, Tamiya Hong Kong proudly introduces a new addition to the lineup: the Hong Kong Racing Taxi (Green Special)!
The Green Special Version faithfully reproduces the New Territories Taxi, known locally as the “green cab,” which has served the New Territories region since 1976. As a Mini 4WD, this model stands out with its rare fluorescent yellow chassis and matching fluorescent yellow tires printed with “TAMIYA MINI 4WD” and “WAIGO HOBBY.” The A parts are molded in green to perfectly match the taxi’s signature color theme, making it a true head-turner on the racetrack!
Item 92464 1/32 Mini 4WD Hong Kong Taxi (Green Special) (FM-A Chassis) Assembly Kit Version includes a special motor, first released in Hong Kong! The included Torque-Tuned 2 motor features the Lion Rock emblem representing Hong Kong alongside the Tamiya and Waigo Hobby logos, enabling this Hong Kong taxi to race at full speed, embodying the Lion Rock spirit!

To celebrate Waigo Hobby’s 50th anniversary in 2026, we’re launching a limited-edition HG Carbon Tune-up Part in a brand-new color scheme! 92449 HG Carbon Wide Rear Stay (3mm/Silver) Waigo Hobby marks Tamiya’s first use of silver carbon fiber stay paired with purple lettering, making it truly one-of-a-kind among tune-up parts! The 3mm silver carbon fiber parts are a rare specification that hasn’t been released in over a decade! This gives this limited edition product not only practical value but also added commemorative significance. The 3mm thickness offers greater rigidity compared to the standard 1.5mm carbon fiber plates on the market. It can replace modifications involving layered 1.5mm sheets, and the one-piece 3mm design provides enhanced strength and impact resistance. This plastic assembly kit of the Mini 4WD PRO Manta Ray Mk.II will no doubt bring you the joy of racing! The Manta Ray Mk.II Black Special features semi-transparent smoke ABS resin body shell and the exclusive black and blue color scheme markings. The centrally located double shaft motor effectively transmits power to all four wheels for optimum performance and the "One-Touch" three piece chassis requires no glue and is a breeze to assemble. In addition to the bright blue colored chassis, the Manta Ray Mk.II has fiber-glass reinforced ABS resin N-02 and T-01 units improving chassis rigidity, as well as blue narrow tires on large diameter black wheels which provide stylish racing looks to this special model.

AR Chassis
The AR chassis is designed to offer its driver durability, customizability and ease of maintenance, all of which are vital ingredients for a successful Mini 4WD racer. Its aerodynamic form smoothly allows air to pass through the chassis interior as the machine runs, performing the vital function of cooling the batteries and motor and extending their effectiveness. The air intakes on the chassis and body are integrated for optimal performance. This high-speed racing chassis also features low-friction plastic bearings to ensure that any loss of power from the engine to the wheels is minimal in nature. The underpanel and diffuser can be removed from the model without taking off the body, while a low-friction rear skid bar is fitted to slash time loss experienced on tricky slope sections, and keep the racer on the track where it belongs. Features a 3.5:1 gear ratio.
