Ever since its release years ago, the Mini 4WD model kit “Hong Kong Racing Taxi” – a highly detailed model that authentically captures the look and feel of Hong Kong’s iconic red taxis – has been beloved by local and also global fans. Now, Tamiya Hong Kong proudly introduces a new addition to the lineup: the Hong Kong Racing Taxi (Green Special)!
The Green Special Version faithfully reproduces the New Territories Taxi, known locally as the “green cab,” which has served the New Territories region since 1976. As a Mini 4WD, this model stands out with its rare fluorescent yellow chassis and matching fluorescent yellow tires printed with “TAMIYA MINI 4WD” and “WAIGO HOBBY.” The A parts are molded in green to perfectly match the taxi’s signature color theme, making it a true head-turner on the racetrack!
Item 92464 1/32 Mini 4WD Hong Kong Taxi (Green Special) (FM-A Chassis) Assembly Kit Version includes a special motor, first released in Hong Kong! The included Torque-Tuned 2 motor features the Lion Rock emblem representing Hong Kong alongside the Tamiya and Waigo Hobby logos, enabling this Hong Kong taxi to race at full speed, embodying the Lion Rock spirit!

Insert it between the rear of the chassis and the motor to fix the motor more securely. Even with a strong shock such as a jump, the motor mounting part will not move, reliably transmitting power and improving the reliability of the run. This assembly kit creates the Ray Spear, a Mini 4WD racer with body designed by Japanese "Hyper Designer" Takayuki Yamazaki. Molded in clear green plastic, the body features a thrusting design and is lightweight and compact, contributing to a low center of gravity for the car; it features a detachable canopy which reveals a jet fighter-esque cockpit interior. Like the body, the VZ chassis is a lightweight and compact design, and here it is paired with dark silver color wheels and super hard low-profile tires.
