Ever since its release years ago, the Mini 4WD model kit “Hong Kong Racing Taxi” – a highly detailed model that authentically captures the look and feel of Hong Kong’s iconic red taxis – has been beloved by local and also global fans. Now, Tamiya Hong Kong proudly introduces a new addition to the lineup: the Hong Kong Racing Taxi (Green Special)!
The Green Special Version faithfully reproduces the New Territories Taxi, known locally as the “green cab,” which has served the New Territories region since 1976. As a Mini 4WD, this model stands out with its rare fluorescent yellow chassis and matching fluorescent yellow tires printed with “TAMIYA MINI 4WD” and “WAIGO HOBBY.” The A parts are molded in green to perfectly match the taxi’s signature color theme, making it a true head-turner on the racetrack!
Item 92464 1/32 Mini 4WD Hong Kong Taxi (Green Special) (FM-A Chassis) Assembly Kit Version includes a special motor, first released in Hong Kong! Get ready to race! This handy set combines the popular Aero Avante Mini 4WD car kit with race spec option parts and basic tools. Fitting the option parts in the set turns the Aero Avante into a swift racer suited to tracks with long straight sections and fewer corners. Included are a Rev-Tuned 2 motor, super hard tires (black), brake set, side mass damper set and FRP plates for the front and rear of your car. With relatively few spacers and screws, assembly is kept simple. The Aero Avante body is molded in blue and paired with the aerodynamically efficient AR chassis in black.
AR Chassis
The AR chassis is designed to offer its driver durability, customizability and ease of maintenance, all of which are key ingredients for a successful Mini 4WD racer. Its aerodynamic form smoothly allows air to pass through the chassis interior as the machine runs, performing the vital function of cooling the batteries and motor and extending their effectiveness. Air intakes on the chassis and body are integrated for optimal performance. Low-friction plastic bearings ensure that any loss of power from the engine to the wheels is minimal in nature. Under panel and diffuser can be removed from the model without taking off the body. Features a 3.5:1 gear ratio.

To celebrate Waigo Hobby’s 50th anniversary in 2026, we’re launching a limited-edition HG Carbon Tune-up Part in a brand-new color scheme! 92449 HG Carbon Wide Rear Stay (3mm/Silver) Waigo Hobby marks Tamiya’s first use of silver carbon fiber stay paired with purple lettering, making it truly one-of-a-kind among tune-up parts! The 3mm silver carbon fiber parts are a rare specification that hasn’t been released in over a decade! This gives this limited edition product not only practical value but also added commemorative significance. The 3mm thickness offers greater rigidity compared to the standard 1.5mm carbon fiber plates on the market. It can replace modifications involving layered 1.5mm sheets, and the one-piece 3mm design provides enhanced strength and impact resistance. Geo Glider Advanced Pack TKC Edition is composed of reasonably cost-effective parts that allow for universal and smooth driving in various track environments. This product is designed to help beginners or beginners understand effective parts combination and structure, and to show them the joy of setting up a mini car. We aim to achieve a level of perfection that allows even those who are hesitant to participate in competitions due to vague fears to take on the challenge, and this process includes a more practical-oriented Korean style based on data and know-how gathered from official competitions and various private competitions over a long period of time. This contains efforts to create an advanced pack. This product, which was planned by Tamiya Korea in everything from the machine setting design to the sticker design, attempted a drastic image transformation from the existing Geo Glider kit. It is overflowing with strong charisma, including the strong color contrast of red and black, and stickers designed to imagine the fierce appearance of a bird of prey spreading its wings and flying towards its prey.

This high-speed racing chassis also features low-friction plastic bearings to ensure that any loss of power from the engine to the wheels is minimal in nature. The under-panel and diffuser can be removed from the model without taking off the body, while a low-friction rear skid bar is fitted to slash time loss experienced on tricky slope sections, and keep the racer on the track where it belongs. Features a 4.2:1 gear ratio.
