Ever since its release years ago, the Mini 4WD model kit “Hong Kong Racing Taxi” – a highly detailed model that authentically captures the look and feel of Hong Kong’s iconic red taxis – has been beloved by local and also global fans. Now, Tamiya Hong Kong proudly introduces a new addition to the lineup: the Hong Kong Racing Taxi (Green Special)!
The Green Special Version faithfully reproduces the New Territories Taxi, known locally as the “green cab,” which has served the New Territories region since 1976. As a Mini 4WD, this model stands out with its rare fluorescent yellow chassis and matching fluorescent yellow tires printed with “TAMIYA MINI 4WD” and “WAIGO HOBBY.” The A parts are molded in green to perfectly match the taxi’s signature color theme, making it a true head-turner on the racetrack!
Item 92464 1/32 Mini 4WD Hong Kong Taxi (Green Special) (FM-A Chassis) Assembly Kit Version includes a special motor, first released in Hong Kong! The included Torque-Tuned 2 motor features the Lion Rock emblem representing Hong Kong alongside the Tamiya and Waigo Hobby logos, enabling this Hong Kong taxi to race at full speed, embodying the Lion Rock spirit!

This assembly kit will give you lots of fun racing this high performance Mini 4WD PRO machine. The centrally located double shaft motor effectively transmits power to all four wheels for optimum performance. The "One-Touch" three piece chassis requires no glue and is a breeze to assemble. You will enjoy the speed of this machine and its wide choice of settings. The robust form of Tankuro's favored machine the Dash-2 Burning Sun is still popular with fans today. The powerful armored style of this car has been arranged on the equally impressive MS Chassis. Pin spike tires and an N-02 nose unit are employed. Also, as seen in the comic magazine, the front bumper bar is included for display use.
TAMIYA 18704 1/32 MINI 4WD SHADOW SHARK (AR CHASSIS)
The AR chassis is designed to offer its driver durability, customizability and ease of maintenance, all of which are vital ingredients for a successful Mini 4WD racer. Its aerodynamic form smoothly allows air to pass through the chassis interior as the machine runs, performing the vital function of cooling the batteries and motor and extending their effectiveness. The air intakes on the chassis and body are integrated for optimal performance. This high-speed racing chassis also features low-friction plastic bearings to ensure that any loss of power from the engine to the wheels is minimal in nature. The under-panel and diffuser can be removed from the model without taking off the body, while a low-friction rear skid bar is fitted to slash time loss experienced on tricky slope sections, and keep the racer on the track where it belongs. Features a 4.2:1 gear ratio.
