Ever since its release years ago, the Mini 4WD model kit “Hong Kong Racing Taxi” – a highly detailed model that authentically captures the look and feel of Hong Kong’s iconic red taxis – has been beloved by local and also global fans. Now, Tamiya Hong Kong proudly introduces a new addition to the lineup: the Hong Kong Racing Taxi (Green Special)!
The Green Special Version faithfully reproduces the New Territories Taxi, known locally as the “green cab,” which has served the New Territories region since 1976. As a Mini 4WD, this model stands out with its rare fluorescent yellow chassis and matching fluorescent yellow tires printed with “TAMIYA MINI 4WD” and “WAIGO HOBBY.” The A parts are molded in green to perfectly match the taxi’s signature color theme, making it a true head-turner on the racetrack!
Item 92464 1/32 Mini 4WD Hong Kong Taxi (Green Special) (FM-A Chassis) Assembly Kit Version includes a special motor, first released in Hong Kong! The included Torque-Tuned 2 motor features the Lion Rock emblem representing Hong Kong alongside the Tamiya and Waigo Hobby logos, enabling this Hong Kong taxi to race at full speed, embodying the Lion Rock spirit!

To celebrate Waigo Hobby’s 50th anniversary in 2026, we’re launching a limited-edition HG Carbon Tune-up Part in a brand-new color scheme! 92449 HG Carbon Wide Rear Stay (3mm/Silver) Waigo Hobby marks Tamiya’s first use of silver carbon fiber stay paired with purple lettering, making it truly one-of-a-kind among tune-up parts! The 3mm silver carbon fiber parts are a rare specification that hasn’t been released in over a decade! This gives this limited edition product not only practical value but also added commemorative significance. The 3mm thickness offers greater rigidity compared to the standard 1.5mm carbon fiber plates on the market. It can replace modifications involving layered 1.5mm sheets, and the one-piece 3mm design provides enhanced strength and impact resistance. Hiroyuki Takei's mini 4WD manga "Hyper", which began serialization in the second issue of Shogakukan's "CoroCoro Aniki" Dash! Yonkuro''. The new machine driven by the main character, Yonkuro Hinomaru, is the Rise Emperor. The body design is based on the style of the popular first-generation Dash No. 1 Emperor and has been brushed up by Mr. Takei. The front and sides have been updated. Equipped with a strong frame that covers the body, the large air intake at the top of the canopy, which is a feature of the new dash machine, is also impressive.Details such as the canopy side lights and rear damper unit carried over from the first generation have been paid attention to. The shape is attractive.The chassis is an MA equipped with a double shaft motor that pursues drive efficiency.Slick tires are attached to the white-colored large diameter 4-spoke wheels. [

The "MS Chassis" has a mid-ship layout with a double shaft motor mounted in the center of the vehicle body, and the "AR Chassis" is designed with particular attention to airflow (aero) while driving. The "MA Chassis" combines all of the outstanding features into one chassis.Of course, by making use of the racing know-how accumulated over the years, it is equipped with six low-friction resin rollers and a rear skid bar as standard equipment.
