Ever since its release years ago, the Mini 4WD model kit “Hong Kong Racing Taxi” – a highly detailed model that authentically captures the look and feel of Hong Kong’s iconic red taxis – has been beloved by local and also global fans. Now, Tamiya Hong Kong proudly introduces a new addition to the lineup: the Hong Kong Racing Taxi (Green Special)!
The Green Special Version faithfully reproduces the New Territories Taxi, known locally as the “green cab,” which has served the New Territories region since 1976. As a Mini 4WD, this model stands out with its rare fluorescent yellow chassis and matching fluorescent yellow tires printed with “TAMIYA MINI 4WD” and “WAIGO HOBBY.” The A parts are molded in green to perfectly match the taxi’s signature color theme, making it a true head-turner on the racetrack!
Item 92464 1/32 Mini 4WD Hong Kong Taxi (Green Special) (FM-A Chassis) Assembly Kit Version includes a special motor, first released in Hong Kong! The included Torque-Tuned 2 motor features the Lion Rock emblem representing Hong Kong alongside the Tamiya and Waigo Hobby logos, enabling this Hong Kong taxi to race at full speed, embodying the Lion Rock spirit!

The centrally located double shaft motor effectively transmits power to all four wheels for optimum performance and the "One-Touch" three piece chassis requires no glue and is a breeze to assemble. This assembly kit creates a special premium edition of the Dash-5 Dancing Doll Mini 4WD racer, a car which appeared in the classic Japanese Mini 4WD cartoon ???Dash!! Yonkuro??? as the car of the eponymous hero???s friend Sumeragi Rinko. The Dancing Doll body is resplendent in red with a large blue canopy section, and accented by boxy headlights, fins and an upper air intake. The rear of the car features a fan motif, plus aircraft-like vertical fins and side winglets for a truly unique look. Stylish metallic type decorative stickers come packaged with the product.
