Now, Tamiya Hong Kong proudly introduces a new addition to the lineup: the Hong Kong Racing Taxi (Green Special)!
The Green Special Version faithfully reproduces the New Territories Taxi, known locally as the “green cab,” which has served the New Territories region since 1976. As a Mini 4WD, this model stands out with its rare fluorescent yellow chassis and matching fluorescent yellow tires printed with “TAMIYA MINI 4WD” and “WAIGO HOBBY.” The A parts are molded in green to perfectly match the taxi’s signature color theme, making it a true head-turner on the racetrack!

The AR chassis is designed to offer its driver durability, customizability and ease of maintenance, all of which are vital ingredients for a successful Mini 4WD racer. Its aerodynamic form smoothly allows air to pass through the chassis interior as the machine runs, cooling the batteries and motor and extending their effectiveness. The air intakes on the chassis and body are integrated for optimal performance. Hiroyuki Takei's mini 4WD manga "Hyper", which began serialization in the second issue of Shogakukan's "CoroCoro Aniki" Dash! Yonkuro''. The new machine driven by the main character, Yonkuro Hinomaru, is the Rise Emperor.
